Miley Cyrus switches gears and takes an urban detour on her new single "We Can't Stop", which premiered today and was produced by Mike WiLL Made It (Rihanna's "Pour It Up", Ciara's "Body Party" and Kelly Rowland's "Kisses Down Low").
The infectious single serves as the first release from her forthcoming studio album, which is also slated to be released later this year and will feature contributions from Wiz Khalifa, Tyler, the Creator, Hit-Boy and Pharrell. Listen to the party-anthem below:
Say what you want about Cyrus and how authentic her new sound is or isn't, but this song, which immediately embeds itself in your brain, seems destined to be a hit, which is evident by its current position at the summit on iTunes. It's a bit generic, but I like it.
