After a lengthy rest on the sidelines, our beloved Past Attack segment returns this week bigger and better than ever as we take a look back at Janet Jackson's iconic era for 'The Velvet Rope', her critically-acclaimed sixth studio album.

The history-making album, which debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200 and ranks as the best of her career, spawn numerous hit singles including "Got Til It's Gone", "I Get Lonely", "Go Deep" and her most successful single, "Together Again".
